They say life is like a river. You are never in the same place at the same time twice. With the UPMAS mission of giving back, the Cancer Care initiative was wonderfully executed by President Krisinda Dim-Jamora (Class 2000) and the UPMAS Board Community Service Team composed of Drs. Sherri Ann Suplido, Agnes Cubillas-Torres, and, Beverly Ho. Donors gave stuff toys, blankets, towels, water bottles, and pain distractors to Pediatric Hemaoncology patients. Donors include Dr. Jennifer Joy Santos-Rayos (Class 2011), Catherine Pedragosa, Dr. Lilibeth Genuino, and, Ms. Nikki Bonuel.

The gift giving was done on September 8, 2025 at the PGH Cancer Institute. Present at the gift giving were UPMAS Board Drs. Krisinda Dim-Jamora, Grace Caras-Torres, Rowena Ejercito-De Jesus, Beverly Ho, and, Executive Director Dr. Mario Festin.
